Oh my Jesus. It's quarter after one in the morning.
I just came back from a concert.
...But before I tell what concert I went to, lemme just explain.

We've got a few annual festivals here in Windsor, or in the towns pretty close by.
We've got the biggest one, the Freedom Fest. Then there's the Strawberry Fest and then the Corn Fest, which aren't in the city.

The Corn Fest is this weekend in Tecumseh; I actually went tonight, and the band playing there was...

Yeah, that's right. Hedley.

I know, I know... but it's Hedley. Hedley.
Whatever, I don't care. Admission was one five frickin' bucks.
Basically like a free concert, man. How awesome is that?

Now I have to admit, I was actually pretty stoked about this. I love concerts.
But I never really liked Hedley. I mean, I just never took enough interest in their music besides what I hear from the radio and MuchMusic.

...Christ in Gethsemane, I have a newfound love for them. Seriously.
They're actually pretty amazing LIVE.

Jacob Hoggard; he's a complete nutter. He's absolutely crazy, and I love him to death. A few specific moments I can remember...

Oh! During the instrumental part of a song, he freaked out once.
He totally freaked out because there was a grasshopper on the stage. I just about died, laughing. Here's basically how it went:

JACOB:
-high pitched squeal-
Oh my GAWSHH! It's a GRASSHOPPER!
-pauses, and then lies on the stage for a closer look at the grasshopper-
-yells at Dave (guitarist)-
DUDE, man. Watch OUT!
-practically babysits the grasshopper-
-picks up the grasshopper, stands up, and tosses it behind him, backstage-
It's okay guys. He's back there now; he's okay.
...LMFAO. Awesome.

So I definitely forgot my camera when I went. I was so frickin' pissed.
It's okay; I've got a lovely t-shirt that I shall cherish for about a week, then move on.

Oh boyy. Jacob Hoggard. Wow; I love him. ♥
...and Daaammmnnn. That man can really sing. Seriously.
Like, you know how you hear about people who sound awesome on record, but sound like shit live? Yeah, that's not Jacob.
He's got an amazing voice; he really knows how to use it. I'm surprised, actually.

Please excuse me while I dream happily about his voice, singing me to sleep with a beautiful lullaby. (:

M'kay. So a few weeks ago, my next-door neighbor went on vacation for like, a week or something. My family's pretty good friends with them, so my parents were asked to watch over their house along with my neighbor's neighbor... does that make sense?

...Whatever.
Of those two neighboring families, they've both got kids who're around my age: Mike, who's in my grade & goes to my school, and Mario, who's a year younger at a different school.
We kinda used to hang out when we were younger. Like, 'causing trouble in the middle of the night playing hide-n-go-seek tag, sharing a mutual 'almost-hate' for each other. It was good times, then high school happened...

But I digress! Back to the story...

So one day, whilst Mario was gone on vacation, Mike thought it'd be funny to play a prank on him... actually, on his house.

I had a bunch of friends over; we were all chillling outside, but we gradually moved our party to my basement. At like, ten -ish at night, Mike comes to my door.

MIKE: Follow me, bring your friends.
ME: What the fuck...?
MIKE: Just come, please. It's for effect...

I made a new layout; it'll be up by today or tomorrow.
...if I don't procrastinate, which I'm fairly good at.

But yeah. I've been trying to come up with some content for you guys, but I can't think of anything.
So if you'd like any tutorials, brushes, scans, anything...? Lemme know, 'cause I'll do it. (:

I have absolutely nothing else to blog about... unless you'd like to hear about my friend's birthday party last Wednesday. Oh boy; that was too much fun.

Summer's slowly fading away and dying... shit. That mean's school's gonna start soon.
